composition:

Each 2 ml dose of vaccine contains: 
 inactivated Staphylococcus aureus culture 16 x 109 CFU, staphylococcal ß-toxoid 120 HU, staphylococcal ß-toxoid 2000 HU.
Adjuvant: alhydrogel

Indications :

Prevention of gangrenous mastitis ascribed to Staphylococcus aureus in ewes

Dosages :

The vaccine must be administered to all ewes at a dosage of 2 ml/animal, by intramuscular or subcutaneous route, about 30-45 days before parturition.
Repeat administration of the same dosage after a period of 2-3 weeks.
On farms that had been affected by serious gangrenous mastitis outbreaks in previous years with a high percentage of diseased animals, a third vaccination is recommended 3 months after the second.
In flocks where the disease is already present, vaccinate all healthy animals at the same time and repeat after 10-15 days

Special warnings :

• Shake well before use.
• After the first opening of the container, it is recommended to use the vaccine within 8 hours.
• The administration is by subcutaneous injection in the loose skin on the upper side of the neck.
• No alcohol or any other disinfectants should be used for sterilization of the needles and syringes.

Storage:

• Store between 2 - 8 °C.
• Protect from light.
• Do not freeze.
• Shelf life after first opening the bottle: 24 hours
