What does the veterinarian's Supervisor of the Farms?

Our vet staff supervises the farms (poultry, horses, and ruminants).

The vet supervising the  farm is responsible for:

  1. The technical and health aspect and the continued availability of all veterinary health conditions, especially preventive immunization work
  2. Directly supervise and coordinate activities of animal husbandry or animal care workers.
  3. Observe the animals for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behavior, notifying managers as warranted.
  4. Monitor animal care, maintenance, breeding, or packing and transfer activities to ensure work is done correctly.
  5. Record everything that takes place on the “cattle/birds” of the farm such as treatments, vaccinations, tests, deaths, slaughter, sale, exit, and entry of new births, and the date of each case separately in the register designated for the farm
  6. Treat animal illnesses or injuries
